Summary
Letter to Wilhelm Bleek from the office of the Colonial Secretary on behalf of the Governor, Sir Henry Barkly. It acknowledges Bleek's account of expenses incurred for 1871 and estimates for 1872 - the current year for his Bushman language researches. The letter also states that Bleek's application for another grant is too late for the year's estimates but that a vote will be put to the Parliament.
