Correspondence
A letter from Wilhelm Bleek to Jemima's sisters in Natal, from Cape Town and dated 23 January, 1863. Wilhelm responds to letters received from the Lloyd sisters, writing from Mrs Parke's guest house in Gardens after his and Jemima's stay at Ruthfelder's Hotel at the coast. He describes Jemima's poor health, their activities, letters received, his own family news and their surroundings. A day later Wilhelm writes, having arrived home, of getting new servants from the Breakwater as well as a new female cook to replace Tom, who is leaving.
