Summary
An Argus newspaper clipping, dated 16 October 1862, reporting the wreck of the Waldensian mail steamer at Struys Point (13 October 1862), upon which Lucy had been travelling to the Cape from Natal. Lucy is listed amongst the passenger names printed below the article. The clipping was kept with Lucy's letters to Fanny and Julia Lloyd decribing the event, in an envelope inscribed by Fanny Lloyd.
