Letter to Marjorie Bright from "Auntie" Dorothea Bleek, written from the Zambezi, 23 April 1925. Dorothea was on an expedition to study the Bushman language spoken by some families living near Muye mission station in Angola (!kung). She writes on the seventh day of their trip on the river and describes their progress and surroundings thus far - especially the natural features of the landscape and bird, insect, reptile and animal life observed. She also briefly describes Miss Pocock's growing collection of plant specimens.
