Summary

A typewritten letter from Dorothea Bleek to Professor Clement M Doke, dated 27 May 1932. It accompanies a document entitled "Answers to questions asked by the Inter-University Committee on African Studies. Bushmen," in which Dorothea answered Doke's/the Committee's questions. She points out the difficulty in reviewing a literature which is so "scanty" given the scarcity of Bushman speakers and number of different groups, leading to a lack of commercial incentive for any prolonged studies.
