Engelbrecht informs Scott that his leave has been extended until the first week of March (he is off work for an operation and recovery). He asks for the "relevant material" (Dorothea Bleek's papers, notes and proofs) to be held back until then. The telegram relates to Engelbrecht's agreeing to write the introduction to Dorothea Bleek's Bushman Dictionary.
