Correspondence
Letter from Professor JA Engelbrecht to Dr KMF Scott, 31 August 1952. Engelbrecht has received items sent to him by Marjorie Scott, including the final proof sheets, "The Mantis and his Friends" and the typed MS of the Bushman Dictionary. He describes his (slow) progress on the introduction, which he needs to finish before his Cape holiday at the start of December. He asks if he can meet with Dr Scott while in the Cape to discuss introduction matters. Engelbrecht warns that his introduction will not be a long one, as much of what he would like to write has been said elsewhere already. He asks Scott to send two more publications - Bleek and Lloyd's reports. He informs her about Wilhelm Bleek's "Zulu Legends" being in press.
