Correspondence
Letter from Professor JA Engelbrecht to Dr KMF Scott, 24 September 1952. Professor Engelbrecht has received a parcel of items, including Dorotha Bleek's photograph sent by Dr Scott. Engelbrecht informs Scott he is ready to begin starting on the introduction itself as he has no more preliminary reading left to do; he feels the many weeks he spent going over all the material (including the MS of the dictionary itself) will not have been in vain. He explains only having 1 week in the term to write the introduction but expects to be able to show it to Scott in early December.
