Correspondence
A letter from Wilhelm Bleek to Lucy Lloyd, from Cape Town and dated 6 November 1863. Wilhelm reports on Jemima's improving strength and Bella's tooth and shoulder pain. He recounts a tiring walk he took with Nellie and Bella up "Lion's Rump" on a visit. He wishes Lucy for her birthday and comments on the good situation of her father's children and the benefit of his departing Natal. He quotes part of a letter from Miss Townsend for Lucy, concerning the Bishop of Natal and seeing Lucy's father in London.
