L1.34 from WHI Bleek to LC Lloyd (21 July 1869)
Correspondence
A letter from Wilhelm Bleek to Lucy Lloyd, from Berlin and dated July 21, 1869. Wilhelm thanks Lucy for sending a letter and parcels to him in Bonn. He advises her regarding the Mr Sanderson investment and mortgage business and agrees that the money must be left invested as it is. He discusses matters involving a child (presumably one of Lucy's half-siblings) as well as some other people, and gives news of the Haeckels. Wilhelm reports that the box of photographs Lucy sent him arrived safely and describes how "astonished" people are by all the material he and Lucy have. Wilhelm informs Lucy he is showing the photographs at the "Geographical" on Friday and plans to visit the Academy of Science.
