Correspondence

A letter from Wilhelm Bleek to Lucy Lloyd, from Berlin and dated 21 July, 1869. Wilhelm dicusses their possible return to the Cape and activities in Bonn and surrounds. After consulting a doctor, Jemima has had a small operation and recovered briefly before falling ill again with a cold. Wilhelm is grateful for the manuscript and papers Lucy sent and grieved at her anxiety and how she has been suffering. He hopes her financial anxieties will soon be over, helped by a gift from her Aunt Cary.
