Correspondence
A letter from Wilhelm Bleek to Lucy Lloyd on Tuesday 7 September 1869, from Bonn in Germany. Wilhelm reports on how little work he has managed to do due to ill health. His and Jemima's manner of living is ill suited to that of the Germans, which took them out of their "power". Jemima is also in poor health. He asks Lucy to acquire the small attached house for their maids and tells Lucy they have hired a German one for Jemima. He reports on activities with his German family and on sending his African Fables in German to a publisher.
