Correspondence
A letter from Jemima Bleek to her "brothers" Lucy and Fanny Lloyd, dated Wednesday afternoon, 9 June 1869, sent from her Uncle Henry's house, Hawkhurst, in Kent, England. Beginning in late May, Jemima describes her, Edith's and Wilhelm's visits and activities largely with her aunts and uncle. She also describes her health and consultations with Dr Weber. Wilhelm visits Oxford. Her aunt sends a money gift to Fanny and Lucy, and her aunts give Jemima money for a warm dress - but she is too poorly to set about getting one.
