The steamer ran ashore but all the precious lives were spared. Parcels which others have entrusted me with has been lost under my care. Captain Joss and Mr Stuart and other men I shall never forget as they were really kind to me and last night the 14th we were brought to a dutch farmers house where we have been kindly received.
